About Me

I’m a 2024 Boston College graduate with a degree in environmental geosciences. I’m strongly interested in meteorology and climatology, scientific communication, and advocacy for improved accessibility.

My experience includes:

  • I wrote a senior thesis about controls on speleothem growth rates in the Late Pleistocene. I wrote Python scripts to analyze the SISALv2 database, paleoclimate model data, and modern temperature and precipitation observations, advancing the scientific understanding of the viability of speleothems as temperature proxies. I conducted extensive literature research to develop a holistic narrative about the Last Glacial Period, its termination, and the onset of the Holocene interglacial.
  • In my work with Boston College Campus Recreation, I created visual media employing Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate facility policies to patrons. I managed a team of 50 fitness assistants and fulfilled various administrative tasks critical to team cohesion and smooth department operations. I also contacted peer institutions to research and propose changes to departmental policies, aiming to improve customer experiences and ensure general policy alignment.
  • At my internship with ABCD at their Allston-Brighton office, I performed statistical analysis of programs to extract insights regarding usage and resource allocation. I wrote reports and designed visualizations, which my supervisor presented at board meetings. I also participated in the VITA program, assisting low-income clients with submitting their federal and state tax returns.

More recently, I’ve become interested in public writing. My first op-ed was published in March 2025 in The Hartford Courant. I discussed the importance of inclusive hiring programs for people with disabilities.
